About Cambridge International AS and A Level

The Cambridge International A Level is regarded as the ‘gold standard’ qualification, holding the same value as its UK equivalent for university admissions worldwide.

It is widely accepted by universities across all countries as a recognized entry qualification. Designed specifically for an international audience, the A and AS Level syllabuses are carefully structured to cater to the diverse range of Cambridge schools globally, ensuring content remains inclusive and free from cultural bias. The structure and administration of these qualifications are also tailored to meet the needs of students and schools worldwide. The Cambridge International A Level typically takes two years to complete, offering a flexible curriculum that allows students to choose subjects best suited to their interests and academic goals. Examination sessions are held twice a year, in June and November, with results released in August and January, respectively.
