The Cambridge International A Level is regarded as the ‘gold standard’ qualification, holding the same value as its UK equivalent for university admissions worldwide.
It is widely accepted by universities across all countries as a recognized entry qualification. Designed specifically for an international audience, the A and AS Level syllabuses are carefully structured to cater to the diverse range of Cambridge schools globally, ensuring content remains inclusive and free from cultural bias. The structure and administration of these qualifications are also tailored to meet the needs of students and schools worldwide. The Cambridge International A Level typically takes two years to complete, offering a flexible curriculum that allows students to choose subjects best suited to their interests and academic goals. Examination sessions are held twice a year, in June and November, with results released in August and January, respectively. A variety of assessment methods are used alongside formal written exams, including oral assessments, practical's, projects, and coursework, depending on the subject and the most effective way to measure student achievement. Grades range from A* (highest level of achievement) to E (minimum passing grade), with a U (ungraded) awarded if the assessment requirements are not met.
I smile at how my decision to study in LA proved to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I thank LA and all the people I met here who helped in transforming a shy girl into a bold outspoken leader.
What made LAC special was the unwavering support from my teachers and counselors who saw potential in me that I hadn't yet recognized in myself. Their personalized guidance eased the complex college application process, ultimately helping me secure a full-ride scholarship to Villanova, USA.
My time at Little Angels College studying A-Levels was truly fulfilling. The enthusiasm and dedication of the teachers made a significant impact on my academic journey. Their unwavering support and guidance helped me achieve the highest marks in the country in Economics.
